چکیده

Single sequences like Legendre have high linear complexity. Known CDMA families of sequences all have low complexities. We present a new method of constructing CDMA sequence sets with the complexity of the Legendre from new frequency hop patterns, and compare them with known sequences. These are the first families whose normalized linear complexities do not asymptote to 0, verified for lengths up to 6×10 8. The new constructions in array format are also useful in watermarking images. We present a conjecture regarding the recursion polynomials. We also have a method to reverse the process, and from small Kasami/No‐Kumar sequences we obtain a new family of 2 n doubly periodic (2 n +1)×(2 n ‐1) frequency hop patterns with correlation 2.

Nonlinear Multiuser Receiver for Optimized Chaos-Based DS-CDMA Systems

Chaos based communications have drawn increasing attention over the past years. Chaotic signals are derived from non-linear dynamic systems. They are aperiodic, broadband and deterministic signals that appear random in the time domain. Because of these properties, chaotic signals have been proposed to generate spreading sequences for wide-band secure communication recently. Like conventional DS...

Physical Layer Built-In Security Analysis and Enhancement Algorithms for CDMA Systems

Historically developed for secure communication and military use, CDMA has been identified as a major modulation and multiple-access technique for 3G systems and beyond. In addition to the wide bandwidth and low power-spectrum density which make CDMA signals robust to narrowband jamming and easy to be concealed within the noise floor, the physical layer built-in information privacy of CDMA syst...

Reducing the Limitation on Application of Synchronous Decorrelating Detector Cdma Systems

In CDMA (Code - Division Multiple - Access) systems multi - user accessing of a channel is possible. Under the assumptions of Optimum multi - user and decorrelating detector in CDMA systems. By using signals with zero and / or identical cross correlations, a simple and expandable decorrelating detector with optimum efficiency which can be easily implemented are proposed. Constructing these sign...

Hybrid wavelength hopping/time spreading code division multilple access systems - Optoelectronics, IEE Proceedings-

The capacity of local area networks (LAN) can be increased substantially by amalgamating different access techniques. Wavelength division multiplexing (WDILI) arid code division multiple access (CDMA) can both offer an asynchronous mode of communication and can be integrated into a hybrid system. Here, the characteristics of one particular approach to achieving a hybrid system, analogous to hyb...
